The perfect motorcycle tour
You have finally endured everything that comes with motorcycle imports and there it is, your brand-new bike. Of course, you would like to start driving long distances right away, but you have no idea where to go and how to plan such a vacation. That is why we have put together some tips for planning a motorbike trip in this article.
Preparations
It is never too early to start planning a motorbike trip, so make a list of places you would like to visit. Look up top 10 lists on Google and find your favorite places. Put some time into this part because it would obviously be a bummer to find out about a beautiful place that you’ve overlooked when you’ve already planned your whole trip! When you think your list of places is all completed, then make a plan on how you can go from one place to another. Google Maps is a very easy tool that can help you figure this part out. The advantage of planning early is that you can immediately pick out the best hotels, which can save you a lot of money. Make sure you really take your time when planning this trip because you don’t want to run into any complications that you could’ve prevented and that’s of course nice.
Stay honest with yourself
Something that many travellers experience is that they remain stuck in the daydream phase. As a result, the trip may not be as wonderful as they would have liked. This is of course a disaster because the preparations have already cost you a lot of money. You simply do not want to lose all this money and, more importantly, you want to have a great adventure! So make sure this does not happen to you! So don’t be too demanding on yourself and stay in one place for a few days and explore the area. This way you have a few days to really relax before you move on to another. Let everything come to you and enjoy the moment. Take breaks from riding when it gets a bit too much, because let’s face it, sitting on a motorcycle for hours on end can be a lot to handle. You’ve been so busy with all the big preparations like bookings, but also remember to take enough food and drinks with you and to simply stay healthy. Enjoy your adventure in the best way you can!
